Sat/Sun April 24-25 Campout Watkins Glen
Meet at church at 9 am. WIll go to Watkins Glen to plant trees at race track and have a tour. 
Will camp at Sugar Hill State Park saturday night. Return Sunday after noon.

 
Fri/Sat/Sun May 14-15-16, 1910 - Council Centennial Camporee
Celebrate 100 years of scouting. Greenwood Park, Lisle New York. 
Complete the rank and merit badge requirements as published in 1911. 

 
Sun. May  23, 4 pm. John Nord EAGLE Court of Honor
At beautiful Forest Home Chapel. Families encouraged to attend.  Refreshments.
Sat/Sun June 19-20 Campout

The cost for the week at Barton is $260, if received by the early bird deadline of May 3, 2010.  
After May 3 the cost will be $290.  Make check payable to Troop 2, and give to Mary Ellen Stewart or Robin Stedinger.

 
High Adventure programs available: Jet Ski, SCUBA, Helmsman, Woodsman, with extra charge and age restrictions.

 

 
Philmont 2011 – Sign up my April 26th, 2010. 
Our arrival date is July 29, 2011.   (Departure: August 10, 2011)  Crew of 12. At least 2 adults.
Participants on PHILMONT backpacking expeditions hike through the
Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Philmont Scout Ranch, ranging in elevation from 6,600 feet at
Headquarters to 12,441 feet at the top of Baldy Mountain.  TROOP 2 has gone in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008.

 
Philmont Age Requirements - Philmont participants for 2011 must be 14 by September 1, 2011
Troop 2 scouts who wish to participate should give the troop treasurer Craig McAllister 
a $100 deposit by Monday April 26th to hold their place.
