Venturers and leaders
have since 1939.
TROOP 2 has gone in
1996, 2000, 2004 and
2008.
Philmont
Age Requirements -
Philmont participants
for 2011 must be 14 by
September 1, 2011.
Basic cost including
Philmont fees, camping
in Colorado, and travel
by train, bus & van
likely to be around
$1,500.
To be eligible to go in
July 2011 scouts should
be star rank, in good
standing, have earned
hiking merit badge,
participated in planning
events so they are ready
to work as a member of
the crew and enjoy the
opportunity.
