Please RSVP - BSA Troop 2 - Our 50th Anniversary

This spring Troop 2 celebrates 50 years of continuous operation as well as the 100th anniversary of Scouting in the US.

We invite current scouts and their parents, men who were scouts in our troop, adult leaders and troop friends to a special anniversary gathering.  Celebrate scouting with Troop 2, catch up with scouts and leaders from years past, and experience (or re-experience) some history with various displays and on-going visual presentations!

WHERE: Cornell’s Moakley House

WHEN:  Sat. March 13, 2010, 5–9 pm

COST:  The catered dinner will cost $30 per person.

We need your help!

1) Please RSVP by Feb. 3rd. Please let us know how many from your household will be attending the dinner by reply e-mail, or by phoning Robin Stedinger at 257-8016, so we have an idea how many people will attend.

2) Do you know any individuals or families that were at one time active in the troop and who might want to participate? Spread the word, and please give us the name(s) of those who are interested.

3) Do you have any historical memorabilia that we should put on the memory CD to produced for the event?  Please share these with us!

Thank you for your help,  Jery Stedinger, Scoutmaster;  Mary Ellen Stewart, Committee chair
