Fall Court of Honor (COH), Mon Sept 29, 7:30 FAMILIES are invited
No new scout advancement or
merit badge classes.
Families and parents invited to see scouts recognized for
rank advancement, merit badges, new officers, and hear about Philmont.
Troop Committee will share news and plans for anniversary event.
Kevin and Spartan patrol should bring cookies or some goodies
Christopher and Ithaka patrol will bring drinks

Fall dues of $35 due.
Dues for the year - Scout
accounts
Troop dues are again $35 per semester.
For scouts who participate in Wreath and Popcorn sales,
20% of sales are returned to a scout*s scout account for use
in paying their way in scout activities this year.
($175 in sales pays your spring dues!)
Remember a scout is thrifty and scout sales allow a scout to pay
his own way, to help our troop, and to help the council.
And look at all the popcorn prizes.

Wreath Sales
This year the troop is
selling two kinds of wreaths (diameter 25")
The wreaths can be delivered locally or sent by mail.
Scouts received brochures on Monday Sept. 22. More available at COH.

Troop Bike Hike, Saturday Sept. 20
Patrol Leaders Council planned a bike
hike. Will vary the
route so everyone can keep up. Plan to explore southeast of Ithaca
to Shinndagin Hollow State Forest.
ADULTS WELCOME.
Great summer weather this fall, so lets enjoy the outdoors!
Meet at church at 9 am. Patrols responsible for bringing lunch, $3.
Will stop for lunch and games. Return mid-afternoon.
Scouts working on second class can use a 10 mile bike trip to fulfill the 5 mike
map and compass hike.

Cross-Country/Cowboy Challenge October
10-11-12 <Interest?>
This Horses and Cowboy event with wagon
train style camping, and 3 days of activities has been brought to my attention.
Location near Taughannock State Pack. cayuga lakeside stables
They were hoping the troop would be willing to serve as volunteers and help with
events and such. ANYONE INTERESTED?
