Scouting 101 at the Shops at Ithaca Mall
(old Pyramid Mall)
Please come by sometime during the day
to see what is happening. The
displays and activities will be located near Borders and Best Buy at
the south end of the Mall. JOIN THE FUN.
We are responsible for a booth from 10 am - 4 pm. I will have
everything set up with supplies and program, but need folks to staff
the location. Our display which will have a
nature-environment-forestry theme.

A new WEBMASTER for troop 2!
Istvan is taking over the upkeep and content revision for the troop web site. I am sure he will be making his mark as far as new content is concerned and will be looking for contributions in way of photos and anecdotes from events as well as getting dates and information on planned activities
January 19th- Klondike
The Winter 2008 Camporee - it will be on a Science Fiction theme, so you know to expect the unexpected. We'll have a trail of stations, and a hot lunch will be provided. There will be a "Kryptonite Chef" cooking competition in the evening, and we're hoping to offer a SciFi film in the Dining Hall Saturday night. Scout Overnight at Church Before Scout Sunday, Feb. 2-3
Generally runs from 5 pm Saturday until 9 am Sunday. Details to follow.
BSA Taughannock District Mall Show at Ithaca Mall
Sat, Feb 9,-All day. Different scouting units will have a range of exciting displays for young and old to enjoy. Members of our troop will be needed to man our display which will have a nature-environment-forestry theme.

I have added a map and driving directions to FCC as well as a nice large map of Camp Barton, these can be found on the info and policies page. There are some photos from the Brotherhood Camporee and Rick Grossman's Fishing Merit badge class, these can be found on the photos page.
