Camping and rafting trip,

April 21, 2007 we will be heading down into the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania for a weekend of camping and rafting. Pine Creek has provided troop 2 with lots of fun in the past and we expect this year to be a great opportunity to get out and get wet! We will leave the parking lot at FCC at 9:00AM and return around 3:00PM on Sunday afternoon. The cost of the trip is $40 including equipment rental, camp site rental and a commemorative patch. We will camp at Colton Point State Park on Saturday before rafting on Sunday morning. There are lots of opportunities to see wildlife (including Bald Eagles, Osprey and some really cool yellow Palomino Trout). For more information on the rafting experience see www.pinecrk.com and we have some pictures from our last visit  at 2004-5 photos  More details, including patrol food costs, will follow. For more information contact Tony Brock tbrock@virtualcash.biz or call 257-8776
