International Brotherhood Camporee

Several car loads traveled up to Wellesley Island in the 1000 Islands to represent Troop 2 at the World Brotherhood Camporee. Around 3000 attended the event with great campfires and good opportunities to talk to other scouts and swap badges. We have pictures on the troop photos page.

Holiday wreath fundraiser
Mrs. Tiwari handed out holiday wreath packages to the scouts at Monday's meeting, the fundraiser runs from now until October 23, when the orders are due. Your customer orders will be due for collection from Mrs. Tiwari on November 19 (1:00 - 5:00 PM) and 20 (8:45 - 9:45 AM) and ALL monies are due no later than Monday, December 4th. Bike ride around Owasco Lake
 
Mike Thompson is taking the lead this fall on cycling merit badge. He organized a choice of either 50 or 100 mile rides around Owasco Lake and the Skaneateles area, the weather was kind and pictures can be seen on the troop's photos page.

District Autoree
 
Any scout wishing to take Auto Mechanic merit badge, or just having an interest in cars, should sign up for the Taughannock District Autoree scheduled for Saturday October 14.
